Defa Engine heater CFORCE 1000 Gen3

Defa engine heater for CFORCE 1000 Gen3 models.

Includes a radiator heater that is installed directly onto the engine block at the base of the oil filler pipe. Also includes heat transfer paste to enhance thermal conductivity between the heater and the engine.

Easy to install, but you will also need the Defa cable set BW05-460785, which includes the power outlet cable and the vehicle-side connector and cable for the heater.

Preheating the engine is recommended at temperatures below +5 degrees Celsius as it reduces the strain caused by cold starts. Fuel consumption is also reduced when the engine is pre-warmed. It heats the engine oil, making it more fluid in cold weather, which ensures proper lubrication immediately upon starting rather than waiting for the engine to warm up.

Approximately 30 minutes of use is sufficient in light frost, but when temperatures reach -10 degrees, an hour is recommended, and at -20 degrees, two hours.
