Star brite® -46°C Non-toxic seasonal preservation fluid effectively protects drinking water systems and all engines from cold weather and corrosion. Its high-quality additives prevent corrosion of aluminum, copper, brass and solder metals, but it does not damage rubber, seals or hose materials. The bright pink triple color ensures excellent visibility through the system.

Made from pure, non-toxic United States Pharmacopeia (USP) grade ingredients. Contains no alcohol. The product is ready to use. Do not dilute.

Star brite® -46°C Non-Toxic Seasonal Preservation Fluid protects against cracking down to -46°C and freezing at temperatures of -9 to -11°C. When tested with a refractometer designed for use with propylene glycol, the freezing point readings on the PG scale are between -11 and -9°C. Note: The cracking point of most PVC pipes used in drinking water systems is approximately -23°C. When winterizing water systems in areas where temperatures can drop below -23°C, we recommend using Star brite® -73°C Non-Toxic Seasonal Preservation Fluid.
