When you're looking for a super lightweight, race-ready, impact-resistant chain for motocross or supercross, the RK 520MXZ4 is a solid choice. It's a non-sealed racing chain designed to maximize power transfer and minimize rolling resistance in tough off-road use.

The MXZ4 series uses RK's HCR-treated special alloy steel pins (Chromium Carbide coating), which improve wear resistance and help the chain withstand heavy impacts, such as when landing jumps. The chains are made of chrome-molybdenum steel and heat-treated using RK's HIT process, which increases strength and service life compared to traditional non-seal chains.

The tensile strength is approximately 8000 lbs / ~36 kN / ~3600 kg and the typical weight is approximately 1.39 kg per 100 links, making the chain well suited for racing applications where lightness but also good strength is required.
