Defa Engine Block Heater CFMOTO C4/C5

This engine block heater is designed for CFMOTO CFORCE C4 and C5 models.

It warms the engine block and oil before you start, making cold starts easier and getting the warm oil circulating properly right away.

A smart purchase if you store your ATV in a cool space. We recommend preheating whenever the temperature drops below +5 °C.

FAQ How long should I keep the heater on before starting?

About 30–45 minutes is enough when temperatures drop to -10 °C. In colder conditions, we recommend preheating for at least an hour, or longer if needed. 

Can the engine be started without preheating?

Yes, but it puts more strain on the engine. The colder it is, the thicker the engine oil becomes. Thick oil circulates less effectively, which weakens lubrication. That is why we recommend a block heater. 

Can the heater be left on all the time in cold weather?

This is not recommended. It is a good idea to plug the heater into a timer or a remote-controlled socket. Having the heater on for several hours does no harm, but round-the-clock heating is not recommended.
