Defa Engine heater for CFMOTO 450/520/550/600/625

Defa engine block heater for all CForce 450, 520, 550, 600 and 625 models, as well as ZForce 550 and UForce 600 cabin ATVs.

Includes a radiation heater that is installed directly into the block at the base of the oil filler tube. Also comes with thermal paste to improve heat transfer between the heater and the engine.

Easy to install, but you will also need the Defa wiring kit BW05-460785, which includes a mains connection cable and a connector+cable for the ATV heater.

Preheating the engine is recommended at temperatures below +5 °C, as it reduces the stress caused by cold starts. Fuel consumption is also reduced when the engine is already warm at startup. The heater warms the engine oil, ensuring it stays more fluid in cold weather and provides proper lubrication immediately, instead of only once the engine warms up.

About 30 minutes of use is enough for mild frost, but at -10 °C an hour is recommended, and at -20 °C about two hours.
