Putting them on is made easier by a zippered leg opening. You can nearly double the width of the leg by opening the zipper, making it easier to pull the rain pants over your riding trousers.

The fabric is pleasantly soft, unlike the stiff material often found in these types of garments. It is comfortably breathable and suitable for casual wear as well.

Rain suits are designed with a more generous fit than riding gear. This means that if you have a size M riding jacket, a size M rain suit will fit over it. A rain suit that is too large will flap unpleasantly in the wind and form "pockets" where water can collect.
