This hybrid combines the best of both worlds. The winch strap is designed to withstand short, repetitive movements (such as raising and lowering a plow blade), while the 5.5m winch rope provides the length needed for long recoveries in the terrain.

The strap and rope come pre-connected with a total length of 7 meters.

Standard winch ropes or cables are primarily designed for long pulls, not for constant short-cycle use. This is why they wear out quickly or get bunched up on the drum, leading to jams or snapping. The winch strap is a superior solution for plowing; it doesn't tangle easily, and the extension rope only deploys after the strap has been fully unrolled.

A standalone strap is often too short, but this combination works perfectly for both plow use and general recovery.

You solve two problems with one product: no need to swap between a separate plow strap and a long recovery rope.

It is also crucial that your rollers are in good condition, so please check your fairlead before ordering. If your ATV currently uses a synthetic rope fairlead (hawse fairlead), we highly recommend purchasing the full kit with rollers. Using a plow strap with a hawse fairlead creates high pressure and friction that can quickly wear out the strap.
