The CT5 POWERSPORT is designed specifically for charging and maintaining the batteries of motorcycles, ATVs, mopeds, jet skis, and snowmobiles during storage periods. In other words, for vehicles that use small-capacity batteries (about 5–25 Ah).

This smart charger includes dedicated programs for both lead-acid and lithium* batteries, ensuring you get the best possible performance from your powersport batteries—on land, on water, and in the snow.

The charger features compact alligator clips that fit easily onto small battery terminals. It also comes with a permanent installation cable equipped with M8 connectors and a quick-connect CTEK-compatible plug.

Powersport vehicles often sit unused for long periods between riding seasons—and sometimes even during the season while waiting for the next ride.

This is not ideal for small batteries that must deliver high current and strong starting power.

The CT5 POWERSPORT charger ensures that even after long storage periods, your battery remains fully charged and your vehicle is ready whenever you are.

Thanks to advanced technology, three fully automatic charging and maintenance programs are available:

• Normal program: for all lead-acid batteries, including AGM
• Lithium* program: for all lithium* batteries
• Recond program: restores deeply discharged batteries

You can connect the charger directly to the battery—permanently if needed—without any risk of overcharging or undercharging. The package includes permanent ring terminals with M8 eyelets and a CTEK-compatible connector.

There is no risk of short circuiting; the charger will not supply current unless connected correctly.

Instructions

1. Connect the charger to the battery
2. Plug the charger into a power outlet
3. Use the Mode button to select the appropriate charging program
4. The charging will start shortly, and you can monitor the progress on the charger

Your moto dealer recommends charging the battery every 2–3 months, whether the vehicle is being ridden or not. If the vehicle is stored (battery connected) in cold conditions, it’s recommended to keep the charger connected. The maintenance program keeps the battery in good condition and prevents it from discharging.
