Haklift Medium clevis winch hook

A larger winch hook makes winching significantly easier. It accommodates items such as tree saver strap loops, a tow rope, or a thick soft shackle much better.

ATVs often come with a rather small hook as standard, and its "capacity" runs out quite quickly. Therefore, it is worth replacing it with a larger—and thus more spacious—hook with a safety latch.

This Grade 8 latch hook, with a working load limit of 1.12 tonnes, performs excellently in ATV use, even in demanding conditions. It has been tested and proven effective in our own off-road riding.

The direct clevis connection makes the structure compact, lightweight, and extremely reliable.

How is a latch hook with a clevis connection installed on a chain?

The hook is attached to the loop of the winch rope or cable using the hook's integral clevis and its associated locking pin. No separate connecting link (such as a shackle) is required, which shortens the connection and reduces the number of parts.

Grade 8 is the industry standard for high-quality hardened steel used in lifting equipment. It ensures high breaking strength and toughness, which is more than sufficient for ATV use.
