Variator rollers affect how engine power is transferred to the road. When worn, they show up as jerky acceleration, a dropping top speed and a shifting rev range.

With weight rollers you can tune acceleration and the rev range on mopeds and scooters.

ATV clutch rollers are a wear item. Quality rollers also make the ATV clutch work smoothly and respond more sensitively.
