Is this kit suitable for enduro or motocross bike chains?

This Road series is optimized for highway speeds and street riding, where high resistance to centrifugal force is required to prevent fling-off. If you ride primarily on sand and mud, we recommend choosing the Ipone Chain Care Offroad series, as its lubricant is designed to more effectively repel fine dust and sand.

How long should the chain lubricant be allowed to dry before riding?

The recommended drying time for the chain cleaner before applying lubricant is approximately 10 minutes, allowing the solvents to evaporate completely. After spraying the lubricant onto the clean chain, let it set for at least 10–15 minutes (preferably overnight) so that the lubricant can bond firmly to the metal surface before you start riding.

Why is that particular special brush included in the set?

The chain brush’s three-sided U-shaped head cleans the chain from the top, bottom, and sides in a single pass. While a standard rag or brush often just pushes grit deeper between the seals, this brush effectively lifts away stubborn road grime and old grease without damaging the delicate rubber seals.
