Xenum In & Out Petrol cleaner

Xenum In & Out Petrol is a 1-litre fuel additive that cleans a petrol engine's fuel system and exhaust side in a single treatment, without dismantling any parts. It suits both direct injection (DI) and conventional (IDI) petrol engines, and you can also use it with E10 fuel.

If your engine has started running unevenly, feels down on power or uses more fuel than before, carbon deposits may be the cause. In & Out Petrol is designed to clean these deposits and for regular preventive maintenance.

Directions for use

1. Pour the whole bottle (1 litre) into the fuel tank.
2. The tank should contain 30–45 litres of petrol. The additive mixes best when you run the tank almost empty, add the product and then fill up so that the tank holds 30–45 litres.
3. First drive until the engine is warm. Then drive under load at high revs (over 4000 rpm) for 5–10 km so that the exhaust side heats up properly and the cleaning is activated. Do this safely and within traffic rules, for example in a lower gear on the motorway.
   1. Repeat several times if needed.

For the product to work effectively, the mixing ratio must be right. The other key is taking the car for a proper drive: first normal driving until the engine is hot, then high revs for 5–10 km. It's worth repeating this a few times to get the full benefit. Aim for at least 20–30 km in one go – the more, the better.

FAQ

Is the product suitable for a diesel car?

No. There is a separate product for diesel engines, Xenum In & Out Diesel.

Does the product fix engine faults?

The product cleans carbon and deposits. If the problem is caused by a mechanical fault, such as a faulty injector, a sensor or a leak, the additive will not fix it.

Why do I need to drive at high revs?

Cleaning the exhaust side requires heat. In calm city driving alone, the turbo, catalytic converter and particulate filter don't get hot enough.

Does the product help with an emissions test?

A clean fuel and exhaust system can reduce emissions. However, the result cannot be guaranteed, as emissions also depend on the overall condition of the engine and the catalytic converter.
